The National Institute of Cardiology has received additional support from the Medical Research Agency to implement a project for non-commercial clinical trials. Two non-commercial clinical trials will be registered as part of the application titled “Optimal pharmacotherapy in structural procedures with access through the interatrial septum in the perioperative (STOP CLOT Trial) and medium-term (SAFE LAAC Trial) perspective,” led by Dr. Jerzy Pręgowski.
- “Strategy for optimizing intraoperative anticoagulation in structural procedures with access through the interatrial septum” (STOP CLOT Trial) – Principal Investigator- Dr. Jerzy Pręgowski. The study will be conducted in collaboration with five reference cardiology centers in the country.
- “Optimal antiplatelet therapy after transcatheter closure of the left atrial appendage (SAFE-LAAC). A randomized comparative study of health effectiveness – a pilot study. Principal Investigator- Dr. Radosław Pracoń. The study will be conducted in collaboration with six reference cardiology centers in the country.
