Effectiveness of Potassium Canrenoate – Canrenone in Restoring Sinus Rhythm in Patients with Atrial Fibrillation and Elevated Blood Pressure – a Single-center Pilot Randomized Clinical Trial – Canren – AF

Project Description:

Study Objective: The aim of the study is to assess the clinical effectiveness of canrenone in the form of an intravenous solution compared to placebo in restoring sinus rhythm in patients with an episode of atrial fibrillation lasting less than 48h. The study is designed to detect a significant absolute difference between the return of sinus rhythm in the control group and in the experimental group (ARR) at the level of 45% in favor of canrenone.
